Professor Sabina Mihelj gave a presentation at the annual conference of the International Association for Media and Communication Research, which took place in Lyon between 9th and 13th July. Her paper summarized some of the findings emerging from elite interviews, media policy analysis and the population survey conducted in four countries (Brazil, Serbia, Poland and the USA) providing insights into the impact of populism on health crisis communication, media policies and public attitudes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
