On 12-13 July 2023, over 50 scholars and practitioners from around the world attend the PANCOPOP Symposium 2023 on pandemic communication and populism. The symposium was organised by the PANCOPOP Project and co-funded by the Centre for Research in Communication and Culture and the Institute of Advanced Studies. The symposium comprised a total of 6 panels and 25 papers investigating a diverse range of topics – public attitudes, media consumption, media coverage of the health crisis, and pandemic communication and misinformation, covering cases from a wide range of countries, including India, Brazil, Argentina, USA, and several European countries.
